The computer DIY market has a certain scale, but its industry has almost no relevance to the slip ring industry. After all, computer motherboards, CPUs, and memory are all consumer-grade shelf electronic products, and no extra processing is required. However, as time goes by, some high-end DIY players with strong hands-on ability are no longer satisfied with determining the configuration and purchasing assembled computers by themselves, but want to add some novel functions to their computers. In this process, they may need to use components such as slip rings.
Among the signal slip rings developed by JINPAT, HDMI and DP signal integrated slip rings are specially developed for the field of computer high-definition multimedia signal output. In addition to being used in industrial robot vision and VR equipment, some strange and creative devices developed by high-end computer DIY players are also often served by this type of slip ring. Since DP and HDMI signals have very strict requirements for signal transmission distance, the high-definition integrated slip rings used by JINPAT for these DIY players are basically small products, and the length of the wires at both ends of the slip rings has certain restrictions.
Take the HDMI and USB signal integrated slip ring developed by JINPAT for an overseas customer as an example. It uses the mold of JINPAT’s standard product LPM-30B, model LPM-30B-HD01-U2-0203, with a diameter of only 16mm and a length of 37mm. It has 1 HDMI signal and USB2.0 signal channels, and supports the rotation transmission of high-definition video signals up to 1080P@60fps. For DIY players, HDMI signal integrated slip rings are not enough, because this type of signal slip ring only supports NVIDIA graphics cards, and the high-definition video signal output interface of AMD graphics cards is DP, so JINPAT also develops high-definition video integrated slip rings in addition to the DP interface.
